These classes are suitable for all levels of yoga experience, including complete beginners.
Beginners and Fundamental Yoga Class
This class is designed for new students who want to learn the basics of yoga or those who want to extend their yoga practice to obtain the yoga techniques and help their alignment. Classes are structured to demonstrate a wide range of poses from beginners to intermediate, and some advanced. You will learn the stretches to awaken the body and build flexibility—mindfulness and meditation to quieten the mind. Then, flow sequences and standing poses are used to build strength, and restorative poses are used to clear the mind and relax the body. This is a very popular class because it gives our students a well-rounded practice that leaves them feeling revitalised and calm, and has great technique. This class occurs on Tuesday evenings.
Gentle Yoga Classes
These classes are designed for students requiring a more gentle practice or those wanting to ease themselves back into yoga. The focus of this class is on posture alignment, relaxation, breathing, and standing poses. Gentle yoga is great for building strength, flexibility, and confidence at a slower pace.
Some previous experience of yoga would be helpful before attending these classes. That said, adventurous beginners are welcome to join, too!

YIN YOGA
YIN YOGA is for everyone - men, women athletes, sports enthusiasts, desk jockeys, couch-surfers, pregnant goddesses, and anybody who has a body.
Yin is about finding stillness and cooling the body. As the theory goes, we need both to find balance and to flourish as our most optimal selves. It is a sequence of slow, long holds and mat-based postures that stretch out the connective tissues and fascia in the body.
Yin Yoga is a chance to be yourself and to feel safe just as you are, in a gentle yet powerful way.
